Welcome to Stewardship Driving School

 We can help prepare you for the Ohio Class D driver's permit test with one-on-one tutoring, available virtually or in person. We'll cover Ohio traffic laws and road signs using a variety of resources, including the Digest of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws, published driver's education materials, online resources, and a custom curriculum tailored to your specific needs. A final report  will be provided if we feel you're not yet ready for the permit test.

Whether you're a new driver looking to build confidence, an experienced driver seeking a refresher, or perhaps returning to driving after a break, our comprehensive driving assessment offers personalized feedback and recommendations. Our certified instructors will evaluate your skills in a variety of real-world driving scenarios, covering everything from vehicle control and road awareness to defensive driving techniques and handling challenging situations. The Ohio Adult Abbreviated Course is a 4-hour driver education course that's required for adults who fail their first driving test in Ohio. It's designed to help them improve their driving skills and knowledge so they can pass the test on their next attempt. This is offered on-line at the moment.
After the 4 hour class work you will also need either 24 hours of driving with a licensed driver or 4 hours with a licensed instructor. 4 hours with one of our instructors has a $350.00 fee.

 

 This option is everything you need to complete the Ohio approved Drivers Education program. This comes with 24 hour IN-PERSON class and the required 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instructions. NO LONGER AVAILABLE 

Behind-the-wheel instructions are the practical, hands-on component of driver education. It's where you get to apply the knowledge you've learned in the classroom or online to actual driving situations. If you go through our Drivers Ed program the state requires at least 8 documented hours.

Stewardship Driving School is a school that offers behind-the-wheel training with specially trained and certified trainers for drivers with cognitive or physical disabilities. Programs may be offered through medically-based hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and driver training schools with the disability endorsement.

**Please note this is not the same as the "Teen Driving" This requires an instructor that has the state driver disability endorsement on their instructor license. 

 

 The Ohio Adult Remedial Course is an 8-hour defensive driving course designed to improve driving skills and knowledge. It's often required for drivers who have accumulated too many points on their driving record or have had their license suspended. This is offered on-line only at the moment. 
 

Behind-the-Wheel Training: A Final Step to Obtaining Your Driver's License

Are you an adult who has already completed the theoretical aspect of your driver's education course, covering 24 hours of online learning?
To complete the process, we offer an 8-hour behind-the-wheel training program specifically designed for adults. This hands-on training will equip you with the practical skills and confidence to operate a vehicle safely and effectively on public roads.
